Write and read messages

Messages are sent using the Enter key. Press Shift + Enter to insert a line break.

Files: files, including images, up to 100 MB can be sent. To do this, select the paperclip icon. The sidebar with the document symbol shows the files located in the room. Larger files can be shared via UCMeet cloud storage and the “Share” link.

Matrix Element allows you to format message text using the Markdown markup language. Here are a few examples:

LaTeX formula input is also supported.

A topic-based view, also called threaded by topics in each room, group, thread, or channel, is also available, as in other applications that use a third column.
