UC.Technology LLC values the trust that our customers, partners, representatives, and service providers place in us when they provide us with personal information. We believe that privacy is more than a matter of compliance, and we strive to manage personal information in accordance with our core value: respect for the individual. We continuously improve security systems in the online space. We act strictly in accordance with Federal Law on Personal Data No. 152-FZ. Federal Law No. 152-FZ establishes that personal data may not be collected, processed, or used without the consent of its owner. The purpose of the law is to protect personal data (PD).
When our applications and products are used outside the Russian Federation, we strictly comply with the laws of the country in which they are used, including special laws, and we also fully adhere to the GDPR.

What does this Privacy Notice cover?
This Privacy Notice describes how we process your personal information, the reasons we do so, the choices you may have regarding our use of the information, and the measures we take to protect the security of the information. It applies to our websites and mobile services where this Privacy Notice is posted.
What is our accountability promise?
We require our employees, business partners, and service providers to manage your personal information properly.
We have appointed a team of trained employees responsible for ensuring compliance with this Notice. We require everyone who manages customers’ personal information to do so properly and in accordance with our policies.
What type of information do we collect and how do we collect it?
We collect information to provide the products and services you request, to improve your shopping experience, and to support our business functions. We collect information from you in various ways when you interact with our stores, websites, and mobile services.
What information do we collect?
We may collect or receive the following categories of personal information. Not all categories may be collected or received for every person:
Identifiers: personal identifiers such as name, phone number, physical address, email address, government identifiers (for example, national identification numbers, driver’s license numbers), and signatures.
Device information and online activity: identifiers device and online identifiers, account login information, keystroke patterns indicating whether a website/application is being used by a human or a bot, mobile and web network activity and related information (for example, MAC address, IP address, cookie identifiers, browser activity, and other information related to your browsing history), as well as information from social networks.
Commercial information: information about purchase and transaction history (for example, products or services you purchased, rented, or returned), health and safety information, product reviews, travel and vacation information, and contest entries.
Communications: communication details (for example, the contents of emails, text messages, or other messages), call logs, and calendar information in which UC.Technology participates in the exchange.
Demographic information: demographic information such as age (including information about children under 13 in relation to certain purchases and services), gender, citizenship, ethnicity, date of birth, marital or family status, household income, education, professional information and employment information, family health, number of children, number of vehicles owned, as well as software or virtual assets owned
Financial information: financial information such as credit or debit card numbers, financial account numbers, and claims information.
Biometric information: biometric information such as voiceprints, iris or retina images, facial geometry, and palm prints or fingerprints.
Geolocation: location information, such as geolocation information.
Sensory information: audio, visual, and other sensory information, such as photographs, audio recordings, and video recordings.
Background information: background and criminal information, such as background checks and criminal records.
Inferences: individual preferences and characteristics, such as inferences related to purchasing patterns and behavior, intelligence, and abilities.
How do we collect information? We collect information from you in various ways. This may include:
Provided directly by you or a member of your family
Collected from a device associated with you or your family
Collected using in-store technology
Received from another company in our group of companies
Collected from an external third-party source
Collected from another solution or asset
Collected from other sources, where appropriate, to help us correct or supplement our records, improve the quality or personalization of our services, increase the appeal and relevance of advertising, and prevent or detect fraud.
Information provided directly by you or a member of your family. You actively share information with us in various ways in our stores and online. For example, you share information when you:
Make a purchase in a store or online or conduct another transaction with us;
Create an account on one of our websites or in our mobile services;
Use a gift registry or create a mobile shopping list;
Participate in our programs, such as electronic receipts;
Conduct a transaction or request a service for which we collect information (including when required by law, such as hunting and fishing licenses);
Request customer service or contact us;
post a review or comment on one of our social media pages, or post a rating, review, or other user-generated content on one of our websites or mobile services;
participate in contests, sweepstakes, promotions, or surveys; or
Use features of our websites and mobile services that may ask you to provide us with access to the camera, microphone, or contacts on your computer or mobile device (for example, voice search or barcode scanning, or importing your mobile contacts). We collect this information only when you grant us access on your device.
When you participate in these activities, you may share with us various types of personal information, such as your name, email address, physical or mailing address, phone number, date of birth, and payment information.
Information obtained from a device associated with you or your home.
You also passively provide us with information in other ways through technology. This information helps our websites and mobile services function properly and supports customer marketing and analytics efforts — our work to understand our customers’ needs and provide information about our products and services that may interest you. Some examples include:
Device information: we collect technical information when you visit our websites or use our mobile applications or services. This may include information such as Internet Protocol (IP) address, the type of mobile device you use, your device’s operating system and browser type, unique device identifier, referring website address, the path you take on our websites, and other information about your session on our websites.
Browsing information: we use our own and third-party technologies, such as cookies, web beacons, and mobile device identifiers, to collect information about the use of our websites and mobile services. We use these tools to provide you with an integrated and more personalized shopping experience. For example: cookies allow us to provide you with relevant information when you use or return to our sites; web beacons allow us to know whether a particular page was visited, whether an email was opened, or whether advertising banners on our websites and other sites were effective. In certain circumstances, we allow third parties to collect information on our websites for their own business purposes using cookies, web beacons, frames, and similar technologies.
Precise device location information: we may collect information about your location when your device is configured to provide location information. For example, your device’s GPS signal allows us to show you the nearest UC.Technology stores. Other examples include providing us with information about when you are about to arrive to pick up your online grocery pickup order after check-in. We may recognize a mobile device’s location in stores where we provide customers with free Wi‑Fi access or through the use of Bluetooth technology. Through mobile services, Bluetooth technology in our stores allows us to show you nearby products that may interest you, making it easier for you to find products and navigate the store.
Information we collect using technologies used in the store
We may collect your personal information using technologies that we use in our stores, such as cameras on our premises. We use in-store cameras for security and operational purposes, for example, to help us improve the layout of our stores in order to better serve our customers.
Information we receive from another company within our group of companies
We may collect your personal information from another organization within our corporate group of companies.
Information we collect from external third-party sources
We receive information about you from other sources to help us correct or supplement our records, improve the quality or personalize our services, and prevent or detect fraud. We collect information from consumer reporting agencies in connection with products or services associated with financial risk to UC.Technology, such as transactions in which UC.Technology provides you with financing. We also receive information, such as device information and browsing information, from third parties for marketing purposes, for example, to provide you with personalized advertising on UC.Technology websites and mobile services and on third-party websites and services.
How do we use your personal information?
We use your personal information to provide you with products and services, for example, to fulfill your product requests or to personalize our services and marketing for you. We also use your personal information to support our business functions, such as fraud prevention, marketing, and legal functions.
Here are some examples:
Providing services, including maintaining or servicing accounts, customer service, processing or fulfilling orders and transactions, verifying customer information, processing payments, providing financing, providing analytics services, providing storage, or providing similar services.
Providing advertising and marketing services, including targeted advertising
To conduct audits and monitor transactions and interactions, including audits related to counting advertising impressions for unique visitors, verifying ad positioning and display quality, and compliance auditing.
Short-term temporary use, such as non-personalized advertising shown as part of your current interaction with us.
Helping ensure security and integrity and prevent fraud
Performing activities to verify or maintain the quality or safety of our services or devices, and to improve, update, or enhance them.
Debugging to identify and fix errors
For business analysis, such as analytics, forecasts, and identifying areas for operational improvement.
Conducting research and development, including internal research for developing and demonstrating technologies.
To perform our legal functions or obligations
To do this, we combine information collected online and offline, including information from third-party sources. We may also transfer or share your personal information within our corporate group of companies for these purposes, as permitted by law.
How do we disclose your personal information outside UC.Technology?
We make every effort to disclose your personal information in a way that respects your privacy and only as described in this Notice. We treat you as a valued customer, not as a product, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to others for money. All categories of personal information that we collect have been disclosed to other companies, including companies in our corporate family, for business purposes. We may disclose your personal information in the following cases:
Other businesses in our corporate family
We may disclose your personal information to other brands and companies in the UC.Technology corporate family. When we do so, the information will be used in accordance with this Notice.
Service Providers
We disclose personal information about you to service providers that assist us in our business activities, including delivery service providers, billing and refund service providers, payment card operators, marketing and advertising service providers, and companies that help us improve our products and services. We require our service providers to keep your personal information secure. We do not allow our service providers to use or disclose your personal information for any purpose other than providing services on our behalf. Your personal information may be stored and processed only on UC.Technology servers.
Products and services offered by other companies
Sometimes, we allow other companies to provide their products or services to our customers, for example, through UC Marketplace retailers. You may purchase products or services from these other companies in our stores, through our websites, or through mobile services. When you purchase those products or services, we identify the other company and disclose to it personal information related to your purchase of their products and services. These other businesses may operate in Russia or in other countries.
Co-branded products and services
We may disclose your personal information to companies that offer co-branded products or services, such as our UCM co-branded payment card. In connection with a co-branding program, we may receive compensation for co-branding activities. These companies are prohibited from using your personal information for any purposes other than offering you and managing your use of these co-branded products and services.
Legal requirements and protection of our company and others
We may disclose your personal information in other special circumstances, including situations where disclosure is required by law, or where we believe disclosure will help protect the safety, property, or rights of UC.Technology, our customers, our partners, or others. Examples include:
Protecting the health or safety of customers;
Investigating crimes committed on UC.Technology premises;
Identifying and addressing fraud or financial risk;
Providing personal information from cameras to law enforcement agencies upon their written request;
Responding to a search warrant or other valid legal request;
Responding to an investigative authority in the event of a breach of contract or violation of law.
Business Transfer
In the event of a merger, sale, or reorganization of all or part of our business (including a transfer as part of insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings), personal information about you may be transferred to the successor business. We will take reasonable measures to ensure that any successor treats your information in accordance with this Notice.
De-identified and aggregated personal information
UC.Technology constantly strives to make the shopping experience more relevant and less difficult, and may offer relevant services and information to its suppliers and others. As a result, UC.Technology may share with others information that combines information from many customers in ways that do not directly identify you. For example, UC.Technology may combine your purchase history with the history of other shoppers to provide UC.Technology suppliers with aggregated information. These insights do not identify individual customers. This information helps UC.Technology suppliers provide products and services that are relevant to UC.Technology customers. UC.Technology may receive payment for this information.
To provide information about products and services that may interest you, we may share information with other companies, such as publishers, advertisers, and measurement analytics providers. For example, we may share device data (such as device identifier, device type, IP address, cookies, and other information related to your browsing and app use), as well as individual preferences and characteristics (such as information and inferences related to purchasing patterns and behavior). This information does not directly identify you, but is necessary to personalize the advertising you receive. UC.Technology does not receive payment for this information.
We also allow companies that display advertising on our web pages or in our applications to collect information from your browsers or devices using cookies or other technologies. Like many companies, we may allow cookie matching with certain partners. However, these parties are not entitled to access information from UC.Technology cookies.
With special notice or your consent
In circumstances other than those described above, we will provide special notice or request your affirmative consent, as required by law, before we disclose your personal information outside our corporate group of companies, and we also will not sell or rent your personal information for money.

What are your choices?
You have choices regarding the various ways we collect, use, and disclose your personal information.
We may send you marketing messages. You can tell us your marketing preferences at UC.Technology by following the instructions on the “Contact Us” page. Or you can contact the privacy department, as described in the “Who can I contact at UC.Technology about the Privacy Notice?” section below.
We also personalize your experience on our sites and in mobile services by showing you advertising from UC.Technology or our advertising partners that matches your interests.
Some of our mobile services use your device’s location information. You can change your mobile device settings at any time to control whether your device shares this location information. We may also offer additional controls over our use of your mobile location information.
We want to offer you choices in the various ways we collect, use, or disclose your personal information. These choices are described below.
Marketing Preferences
When we send you marketing messages, we use the following standards:
We use an opt-in standard for automated phone and text messages, as well as for sharing personal information with companies outside our corporate group of companies for their use in direct marketing of their products, for example, to send you promotions for their products. Consent means that we will carry out the activity only with your affirmative consent.
We use an opt-out standard for email, app notifications, and regular mail. Opt-out means that we may contact you, but will stop communication at your request (as described below).
In addition, these standards may not apply to UC.Technology-branded payment card offers (UCM), because they are provided through affiliated financial institutions.
If you contact us by email or regular mail, be sure to include your full name, the types of messages you would like to receive or not receive, and the relevant contact information. For example, if you want to opt out of receiving mail, provide your mailing address. Please allow time for your marketing preferences to be processed. Processing your email-related requests may take up to ten days, and processing your requests related to phone calls, text messages, app notifications, and sharing information with your consent may take up to 30 days. Please note that mailings are often prepared many weeks in advance, and you may continue to receive mail for six to ten weeks.
Please note that even if you have opted out of receiving marketing messages from us, we may still contact you for transactional or informational purposes. Examples include customer service contacts, product information, service notifications or reminders, or feedback. We may also need to contact you to ask questions or provide information about your order.
Interest-Based Advertising Settings
We personalize your experience on our sites and in mobile services by showing you advertising that matches your interests. For example, if you browse or buy electronics from us or on other sites, we may show you electronics advertising while you continue browsing the Internet. For additional information about browsing information, see the “Information we receive from you” section.

Mobile Location Settings
Some of our mobile services use your device’s location information. You can change your mobile device’s location settings at any time to control whether your device shares this information. You will also need to configure your device’s Bluetooth settings to fully disable Bluetooth location data collection. See your device’s instructions to learn more about these settings. In addition, we may offer you control over our use of your mobile location information. Device Camera and Microphone
Some features of our websites and mobile services may require access to the camera or microphone on your computer or mobile device. You must give your permission before we access your device’s camera or microphone, and you can change your device settings at any time to control access to your camera or microphone. How do you access and update your personal information?
We provide you with various ways to access or update your personal information, including contact information and account information. We also take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is accurate and complete.
You may access or update your personal information, including contact information or account information, in the following ways:
If you created an account on one of our websites or mobile services, log in to your account. Once you do so, you will be able to enter and update your own contact information and payment information, as well as contact information for the recipients you designate.
Contact us in one of the ways listed in the “Who can I contact at UC.Technology about the Privacy Notice?” section at the bottom of this Notice. Please provide your current contact information, the information you want to access, and the changes you are requesting. We will provide you with the requested personal information if it is reasonably available, except where doing so would violate the privacy of others and subject to reasonable limitations provided by law and internal procedures. Otherwise, we will describe the types of information we generally collect. We will provide access and make the changes you request or explain what actions we can take regarding the request.
If you need to access your personal information related to a specific service provided to you by a UC.Technology service provider or business partner, we will direct you to the service provider or business partner. Please contact us through the “Who can I contact at UC.Technology about the Privacy Notice?” section below.
You may delete your user account in our mobile applications at any time. Go to the “Account” section of the application and select “Request account deletion.”
How do we protect your personal information?
Whether you use our websites or mobile services or visit our stores, we use reasonable information safeguards, including physical, administrative, and technical security measures.
How long do we keep your personal information?
We will retain personal information about you that we collect for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice or any other notice provided at the time of collection, but no longer than required or permitted by applicable law or UC.Technology’s internal policy. We dispose of collected information in accordance with UC.Technology retention policies and procedures.
How does UC.Technology protect children’s privacy online?
In general, our websites and mobile services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Any website or mobile service intended for children under 13 will expressly state that it collects information from children. In such cases, a separate privacy notice will be posted with detailed descriptions of the practices specific to those websites or mobile services.
